When you were a kid, were there any early activities that might indicate you’d one day become a skydiver?
Generally interested in adventure sports. Heights, motorcycles, skiing, etc.
What was the circumstance that led you to the DZ for the first time to make your very first skydive?
Reading a Highlights magazine at a dentist’s office when I was a kid that had an article about early indoor wind tunnels. Then moving close enough to a DZ during college.
What made you want to continue skydiving after your first jump?
It was/is sooooooo much fun!
What’s the best / most memorable skydive you’ve ever made?
There are a lot but probably a night/demo jump at Burningman. Flying over the lit up camp and crowd was an amazing experience.
If you could jump with anyone in the world, who would you like to jump with and why?
There really isn’t any one person I can think of. Every skydive has been fun because of the people who were there.
What advice would you give to someone thinking about jumping for the first time?
Don’t overthink it. Skydiving is a fun sport and is definitely not like what you expect. Relax and enjoy the moment throughout the whole experience!
